ATLANTA (June 25, 2024) – The Atlanta Open today announced the player field for this year’s tournament, the final iteration of the Atlanta Open, which will be held July 20-28, 2024 at Atlantic Station. Americans Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe highlight the recent commitments alongside Adrian Mannarino, Denis Shapovalov, and former top-10 player David Goffin.

Shelton, the highest-ranked player in this year’s field, is an Atlanta native currently ranked No. 14 in the world. A 2023 U.S. Open semifinalist, Shelton made his ATP Tour debut and won his first ATP Tour match at the 2022 Atlanta Open. Shelton is currently the third-highest ranked American in the sport.

Tiafoe (ranked No. 30) is a three-time ATP Tour champion that will be looking for his first Atlanta Open finals appearance. Aleksandar Vukic (No. 81), last year’s Atlanta Open runner-up, will compete again this year; 2022 runner-up Brandon Nakashima (No. 64) will also be in this year’s field.

Georgia Tech senior Andres Martin has once again received an Atlanta Open wild card invitation. The Yellowjacket standout appeared in the Atlanta Open as a wild card in each of the last two years. In 2022, Martin defeated Thanasi Kokkinakis on College Night to earn his first career ATP win. Martin lost in the Round of 32 to Chris Eubanks (2-6,4-6) last year.

“We’re excited to once again host an impressive field of players at this year’s Atlanta Open,” said Peter Lebedevs, Executive Vice President of Tennis Operations for GF Sports & Entertainment. “We look forward to a fantastic week of tennis at Atlantic Station as we celebrate 15 wonderful years in the Peach State.”

In addition to tournament play, the Atlanta Open is hosting the Sunday Showdown delivered by UPS and the Champions Challenge on Sunday, July 21, and Monday, July 22, respectively. The Sunday Showdown exhibition match will feature Venus Williams and Sloane Stephens. The Champions Challenge is a doubles exhibition between former Atlanta Open Champions John Isner (2013-15, 2017-18, 2021), Andy Roddick (2012), and Bob and Mike Bryan.
