With our recently concluded 2015 BB&T Atlanta Open just finished, the entire tournament staff wanted to say THANK YOU to the Atlanta tennis community! Because of your support, we had our biggest and best BB&T Atlanta Open yet! Some fun facts and figures include;
- Two sell-out sessions!
- Grew total ticket sales 30% over 2014!
- New VIP Champagne Tables - Sold out!
- New Pro-Am - Sold out!
- NEW VIP Lexus Lounge with open bar, free food and air-conditioning - Sold out!
- Helped raise over $300k for our charity partner, YMCA of Metro Atlanta!
- Special ALTA member recognition as part of our “Celebration of American Tennis” opening session featuring Andy Roddick!
- #1 world-ranked doubles team, the Bryan brothers, won their record 107th doubles title in Atlanta!
- #1 ranked American and former UGA #1 John Isner pulled the “three-peat” by winning our singles title for the third year in a row!
- Atlanta’s own & Georgia Tech’s #1 Chris Eubanks reached the doubles semifinals with fellow Atlantan Donald Young!
- Future American champs such as Frances Tiafoe, Reilly Opelka, Tommy Paul, along with Atlanta’s own Trent Bryde and Walker Duncan made impressive showings!
- Through our new ESPN TV partnership, our BB&T Atlanta Open reached 90 million households in the U.S. and was televised in over 140 countries globally! Thus, a chance for us to show the world why Atlanta is the best international tennis city.
