BB&T Atlanta Open Wildcard Challenge Tournaments
The 2019 BB&T Atlanta Open Wildcard Challenge Tournaments were held June 3 - 7, 2019, at four locations.
The four winners below will play in the wildcard playoffs on Wednesday, July 17, and Thursday, July 18, at the practice courts at Atlantic Station.

BB&T ATLANTA OPEN WILDCARD TOURNAMENT AT BITSY
Winner: Trent Bryde of Suwanee
Trent Bryde is no stranger to the BB&T Atlanta Open or big matches. He's tasted success playing in his hometown ATP World Tour event before. In 2015, he won the Wildcard Challenge and then defeated a former ATP touring pro in the first round of qualifying.
The rising sophomore at the University of Georgia, from Suwanee, Ga., recorded eight wins in both singles and doubles to finish out his first year as a Bulldog.
He was ranked fourth nationally and first in the state of Georgia as a junior and achieved a career-high No.8 ranking in the International Tennis Federation Junior World rankings. During his successful career, he competed in all four junior Grand Slams around the world and was invited to participate in the prestigious ITF Junior Masters Event in Chengdu, China.
BB&T ATLANTA OPEN WILDCARD TOURNAMENT AT HUDLOW
Winner: Emil Reinberg of Atlanta
Emil Reinberg defeated Felix Corwin 6-2, 7-5 to reach BB&T Atlanta Open Wildcard Playoffs semifinals. He was the College Night player pick for the 2018 BB&T Atlanta Open and played in the singles main draw.
Named to First-Team All-SEC Team for second time in four seasons, he received an at-large bid to 2019 singles championships. Reinberg finished senior season ranked No. 38 in ITA singles and is also ranked No. 61 in ITA doubles rankings with Walker Duncan. He totaled eight victories against nationally-ranked opponents.
In 2017, he received main draw doubles wildcard bid to 2017 BB&T Atlanta Open in July after reaching the singles semifinals of back-to-back International Tennis Federation Circuit events in Tulsa and Wichita.
BB&T ATLANTA OPEN WILDCARD TOURNAMENT AT LIFETIME
Winner: Tyler Stice of Atlanta
From Atlanta, Ga., Tyler Stice is a recent graduate of Ginepri Performance Tennis. He just signed with Texas Tech. Another five-star signee, Stice is the no. 29 player in the class of 2019. He currently touts a record of 26-7 against fellow four and five star recruits in his class to pair with a no. 15 RPI in the Dunlop rankings. He also holds a 41-13 overall record over the last 12 months as a junior.
BB&T ATLANTA OPEN WILDCARD TOURNAMENT AT WINDWARD
Winner: Matthew Terry of Alpharetta
Matthew Terry may play his college tennis at Cleveland State, but he's an accomplished junior player from. Alpharetta, Ga. The rising junior earned a spot on the All-Horizon League Second Team after finishing with a 25-11 singles record for the 2018-19 year. He also finished 14-12 in doubles, including being named "Doubles Team of the Week" in the Horizon for the week of April 23.
He defeated Danie van den Heever for his spot in the final four of the 2019 BB&T Atlanta Open Presented by First Data Wildcard Playoffs.
